FAME TO L.A.: Heart, Albert King, Randy Newman, Public Enemy, Rush and Donna Summer make up the class for induction into this year's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. For the first time since 1993, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be held in L.A., April 18, at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live, with the ceremony open to the public, much as it was in 2009 and 2012 in Cleveland. The Ahmet Ertegun Award for non-performers go to Lou Adler and Quincy Jones. The announcements were made this morning by Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Flea with Foundation President/CEO Joel Peresman and AEG’s Tim Leiweke on hand to make the announcements. The ceremony will be broadcast on HBO, Saturday, May 18, at 9 p.m. (ET/PT). (12/11p)
