KALEIDOSCOPING THE GRAMMYS: Growing buzz surrounds RCA's R&B innovator Miguel, the recipient of five Grammy noms--including Song of the Year for "Adorn," which hit #1 at Rhythm, Urban and Urban AC and remains Top 5. The evocative track has sold more than half a million singles so far; "Adorn" and the rest of Miguel's album Kaleidoscope are prompting comparisons to trailblazers like Prince. “He's a consummate artist, that thing you always look for--the complete picture,” asserts RCA co-ruler Peter Edge in a recent HITS profile. “Soulful R&B records like this have been missing from the Top 40 for years.
