iTunes charts

iTUNES CHART ACTION: This morning’s albums Top 10 is bookended by a pair of quickly assembled “as seen on TV” compilations, Columbia’s 12-12-12: The Concert for Sandy Relief and the Cassadee Pope volume of The Complete Season 3 Collection (The Voice Performances) from Republic. (The Nicholas Pope and Terry McDermott volumes are #23 and #24, respectively). Pope's live performance of "Over You" from the album will be released as a single in January, the label announced. The Voice has also provided momentum for Cee Lo’s Magic Moment, a seasonal album (Elektra), which is three slots behind Republic’s Les Miserable soundtrack. Singles-wise, it’s the usual suspects, highlighted by the feel-good indie smashes from The Lumineers and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. Seeing both in the Top 5 makes us wanna watch It’s a Wonderful Life ($17.99 at the iTunes Store) one more time. (12/21a)
