Top 10 tracks

Fall Out Boy - My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up) [2 Chainz Edition] from FALL out BOY on Vimeo.

TOP 10 TRACKS OF THE WEEK: Macklemore & Ryan Lewis held onto their commanding lead heading into Sunday’s Grammys, as “Thrift Shop” experienced yet another week-over-week increase—up 2% on 389k. The most intriguing plotline on the next sales chart has to do with whether the smash will be challenged by any of Sunday night’s performers, several of whom experienced immediate and sizable increases at the iTunes Store Sunday night. That includes The Lumineers, whose “Ho Hey” was up 25%, Maroon 5’s “Daylight,” +28%, and J.T. f/Jay-Z’s “Suit & Tie,” +33%. And if there was any doubt about Fall Out Boy having been away too long, the #3 debut of the band’s comeback single, “My Songs Know What You Did Last Night” (official video embedded above), would seem to dispel them. But what the hell do we know?

1. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, “Thrift Shop” – 389k
2. will.i.am f/Britney Spears, “Scream & Shout” – 163k
3. Fall Out Boy, “My Songs Know What You Did Last Night” – 162k
4. Bruno Mars, “When I Was Your Man” – 159k
5. Taylor Swift, “I Knew You Were Trouble” – 158k
6. The Lumineers, “Ho Hey” – 147k
7. Maroon 5, “Daylight” – 121k
8. Justin Timberlake f/Jay-Z, “Suit & Tie” 120k
9. Swedish House Mafia, “Don't You Worry Child” – 118k
10. Bruno Mars, “Locked Out of Heaven” – 109k

The next two best-selling debuts arrive on the chart direct from Area Code 615—Tim McGraw and Big Machine label mate Taylor Swift’s “Highway Don’t Care,” which moved 86k units to come in at #14, and Lady A’s “Downtown,” bowing at #20 with 72k. (2/14a)
