Soundgarden Inks Pub Deal with BMG Chrysalis

HOW DOES YOUR SOUNDGARDEN GROW? Soundgarden has inked a worldwide administration publishing agreement with BMG Chrysalis U.S., which includes grunge-rock anthems “Black Hole Sun,” “Spoonman” and “Blow Up the Outside World.” The Chris Cornell-fronted band debuted at #1 with the 1994 album Superunknown. Following a 12-year hiatus, Soundgarden reunited in 2010 to record and tour, playing select sold-out dates before headlining Lollapalooza. Their highly anticipated fall release, King Animal, was the first album from the band in 16 years. They kick off the second leg of their North American tour in May. Commented EVP Creative & Business Development Richard Blackstone: "We are so very proud to be representing the entire body of work from this seminal band. To mark the occasion, every week, we will celebrate Flannel Friday in the office." (4/1p)
