Lyor in L.A.

LYOR IN LA LA: Lyor Cohen was a major presence at last week’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction ceremonies at the Nokia Theater in L.A., getting called out from the stage by Public Enemy’s Flavor Flav, while sitting front and center with his billionaire boys club in tow. Lyor’s reportedly been trying to sign acts to his new venture—which doesn’t involve either Kanye or Jay-Z, as he’d previously been spinning. It’s not clear to the acts he’s talked to what they’re signing to since there’s no distribution, no organization, no key people and no there-there quite yet. (4/23p)
