Stones Rock the Echoplex

STONED AGAIN: The Rolling Stones played the tiny, 700-capacity Echoplex on Saturday night, with $20 tickets allocated via a lottery, as a preview to their “50 and Counting” tour, which hits L.A.’s Staples Center on Friday (5/3). The 14-song set list included “You Got Me Rocking,” “Respectable,” “She’s So Cold,” “Live with Me,” “Street Fighting Man,” covers of Otis Redding’s “That’s How Strong My Love Is,” Chuck Berry’s “Little Queenie” and the Temptations’ “Just My Imagination,” “Miss You,” Robert Johnson’s “Love in Vain” and “Midnight Rambler” (both with Mick Taylor), “Start Me Up” and an encore of “Brown Sugar” and “Jumpin’ Jack Flash.” Here’s a peek at the band rocking out to “Respectable” before a celeb-studded crowd that included Johnny Depp, Gwen Stefani and Skrillex.
