As I Lay Dying frontman busted in murder-for-hire sting

MURDER BY DYING: In a bizarre turn of events that hearkens back to the theory that listening to metal brings on homicidal impulses, As I Lay Dying frontman Tim Lambesis was arrested Tuesday in Oceanside in a murder-for-hire sting. In a statement, the San Diego County Sheriff's Department said detectives received information Thursday that Lambesis had solicited an undercover detective to kill his estranged wife, who lives in Encinitas. A task force from several law enforcement agencies quickly launched an investigation that led to the arrest. The department would give no further details on the case. The Grammy-nominated band is scheduled to tour the country with several other metal acts starting later this month… In other crime news, Justin Bieber was fined for speeding in Dubai. (5/8a)
