NARM's Next Location

WHITHER NARM? With the NARM convention just completed, eyes are now turning to where next year’s Music Biz 2014 event will be held. In addition to the usual suspects, two new cities seem to be in the mix. Nashville and Seattle are now said to be very real possibilities. Of course, it could return to L.A., where it has resided for the last three years. San Francisco, San Diego and Chicago also remain in the discussion, but the lure of Nashville’s superstar residents and Seattle’s heavy tech sector may sway the NARM board’s decision. Where will retailers be flying next year? Stay tuned as NARM continues to poll its constituency. (5/17p)
