YE YE YE: Kanye West performed a pair of new songs from his upcoming album, reportedly called Yeezus and set for release June 18, on the season finale of Saturday Night Live, and they were dark indeed. In front of a flashing backdrop sporting messages such as “Not for Sale,” with backing musicians in the shadows, Ye introduced “Black Skinhead” and “New Slaves,” the latter with the provocative lyric, "You see it's leaders and there's followers/But I'd rather be a prick than a swallower." The appearance came three days after a surprise show at N.Y.’s Roseland Ballroom last Wednesday night, while on Friday night, West’s face was projected on buildings in N.Y., London, Miami and Sydney, revealing the song “New Slaves.” Kanye’s next appearance will come June 9 headlining the 2013 Governor’s Ball on Randall’s Island in N.Y.
