Paris Hilton to Cash Money

DON’T FORGET PARIS: Paris Hilton is signing with Cash Money, co-founder Bryan “Baby” Williams confirmed in the L.A. Times after Roger Friedman broke the news Sunday on his Showbiz 411 column. “She’s always supported us, and we’ve supported her. It was a friendship first,” Baby said of the 32-year-old celeb in Pop & Hiss. “She played us music, and I was taken aback. I was impressed by her music, and I didn’t know she could sing so well.” As for her present stylistic approach, Baby explained, “It’s on the EDM side. I want to let her do what she wants as an artist. We’re going to support it.” After running into Hilton while covering Cannes, Friedman extracted the following info from the horse’s mouth: “This is a lot different than my first album,” Paris told him. “It’s really going to be house music.” And that’s not all, folks. “I’m getting ready to launch my 17th perfume,” she continued. “And I’m also starting the Paris Hilton Foundation for children’s causes… I just want to have the best life possible.” (5/23a)
