iTunes Top 10

LET'S GET DIGITAL: The longtime hitters are making room for new blood on both the album and singles downloads charts this week. Matador's Queens of the Stone Age (who could top next week's sales chart, as we noted yesterday, based on pre-release orders) and Canadian PoMo band Sleeping With Sirens top the album roundup, while another indie alternative act, City and Colour, and U.K. electronica brothers Disclosure make impressive digital bows. On the singles side, RCA's Miley Cyrus retains the #1 perch she ascended to yesterday, while Voice contestant Michelle Chamuel's version of a Taylor Swift song lands with a boom. Speaking of The Voice, judges Blake Shelton and Maroon 5's Adam Levine benefited from a targeted iTunes sale over the weekend, not to mention additional TV, to retain healthy album positions. As to the others? Daft Punk retains the #3 spots on both sides, Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" is still a formidable #2, Gatsby, Macklemore and Selena Gomez (album and single) show no signs of flagging, 2 Chainz's Fast & Furious single loses a bit of traction, and P!nk, Florida Georgia Line and Imagine Dragons (the latter on both sides) hang on in there.
