PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary Wave Music's Adam Lowenberg will add GM duties at Primary Wave Talent Management to his purview, it was announced today; he's been Chief Marketing Officer at the company for the past five years. As CMO he's planned marketing strategies for management and publishing clients like Hall and Oates, Steven Tyler/Aerosmith, Def Leppard and Earth, Wind and Fire; it was Lowenberg who came up with the first-ever branded lottery scratchers for an artist campaign (on behalf of Tyler and Aerosmith). He also helped build the partnership with in-house branding division Brand Synergy Group. Prior to joining Primary Wave, Lowenberg served as SVP Marketing at Island Def Jam and Virgin and VP Marketing at Arista. "It was a natural transition for me to take on this additional role and help ensure positive, steady growth and communication internally as well as within our management roster," he says.
