TEA

ANYONE FOR TEA? After yesterday’s revelation (see our weekly new-release marketshare item), it will surprise no one to find Jay-Z’s Roc Nation on top of this week’s overall-plus-TEA chart. In essence, the dude just hit a walk-off grand slam or a game-winning trey. But here, the gap between Roc Nation and the rest of the field is significantly smaller, as IGA puts together another potent cocktail of hit albums (Imagine Dragons and KidinaKorner labelmate Skylar Grey) and tracks (Robin Thicke and Dragons), which add up to the equivalent of 113k albums—and that’s not counting the label’s other Top 50 entries: OneDirection, Phillip Phillips, Lana Del Rey, Gatsby and Kendrick Lamar. On a typical midsummer week, that would be more than enough to rule the roost, but this week unquestionably belongs to Hova. (7/18a)
