TOP 10 TRACKS: It’s still the dog days, but things are starting to pick up, here and there, at least. Robin Thicke is still on top and still well north of 300k, but the stadium-hopping duo of Jay Z and JT have twerked their way past Miley Cyrus to snag the second slot, with a 2% uptick. Others making positive moves: the adorable Anna Kendrick (+4%), the exploding Avicii (+13%), the long-legged Daft Punk-Pharrell Williams combo (+9%), even as their second collab becomes available, and stealthy siren Lana Del Rey (+24%), who finally has a Top 10 hit to call her own. Next week, of course, the big board will get a major shake-up, as Katy Perry’s “Roar” and Lady Gaga’s “Applause” elbow their way into the picture.

Just below the big board, and heading straight toward it, is Lorde’s “Royals,” which jumped #21-15 on 77k, a 35% increase. The other top debut is Ariana Grande’s Big Sean-featuring “Right There.” Yup, both are on Republic—speaking of which, Florida Georgia Line’s “Cruise” is finally winding down, slipping #6-13 on 89k (-17%) after 61 weeks on the chart. And in its 118th week, AWOLNATION’s “Sail” keeps chugging along, selling another 53k to bring its grand total north of 3.4m. Yowza. (8/15a)
