TRIAL UPDATE: In his parting shot on Thursday, Jackson family lead lawyer Brian Panish lashed out at AEG and its legal team, asking, "How dare they come up here and accept no responsibility and blame it all on Michael." He said jurors should find AEG 80% at fault and Jackson 20% for his death, and questioned the credibility of Randy Phillips and Paul Gongaware, whose memories deserted them on the stand. The case was then handed to the jury, who spent two hours deliberating before adjourning for the evening. They’re back at this morning. The fact that only nine of the 12 jurors have to agree on the degree of AEG’s responsibility for Jackson's death could speed up the process, but it’s anybody’s guess how long they’ll remain behind closed doors.
