TEA

ANYONE FOR TEA? Look at the above bar graph, then scroll down and take a peek at yesterday’s new-release marketshare graphic. You’ll note that the top five of each comprises the same five labels—the Big Five YTD—with Columbia and RCA switching places. Some weeks, those track-equivalent numbers can shake up the pecking order, but not on a week like this one, when IGA rules the album chart. Meaning those three Top 5 singles (see next item), equating to another 54k album sales, are merely the icing on the cake, though a rich icing, to be sure. (11/21p)
