BMG taps Joe gillen as CFO

MONEY MAN: Joe Gillen has been tapped as CFO of BMG North America. His duties will include overseeing finance, accounting, income tracking and royalty auditing for the pubco, as well as finding a place to put an unlaut in his name so Hartwig can pronounce it. Before starting his new post at the top of the year, Gillen served as SVP Finance at UMG's Capitol Music Division (Previously EMI Music North America). President of Marketing & Creative Laurent Hubert praised the new CFO's "financial acumen and experience," adding that he was excited to watch him rock an audit. (1/21p)
