BRO ADWAY THE BEVERLY HILLS WAY: The 22nd annual A Night at Sardi’s, benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association, will present the Abe Burrows Entertainment Award to the cast of The Big Bang Theory, while Glen Campbell and his family will fittingly receive the inaugural Glen Campbell Courage Award for bravely sharing their story publicly and becoming advocates in the fight against Alzheimer’s. The event, which will take place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Wednesday, 3/26, will feature some of TV, film and Broadway’s hottest talent covering songs from Gypsy, Funny Girl, Once, Matilda, and Guys and Dolls. There will also be a musical tribute to Campbell featuring Jimmy Webb, who wrote “Wichita Lineman,” “Galveston” and other classics taken to the top of the charts by the genre-transcending artist. Among the celebs who’ll be attending are Beau Bridges, Lizzy Caplan, Christine Ebersole, Sam Harris, Ken Howard, Robert Morse, Bob Newhart, Grace Potter, John Stamos and Steven Weber. Laurie Burrows Grad and Peter Grad have co-chaired A Night at Sardi’s for 22 years in honor of Laurie’s father, the late Tony and Pulitzer-winning playwright and director Abe Burrows, generating more than $23 million to provide critical Alzheimer’s care, support and research.
