THE DEATH OF PRINT JOURNALISM, PART 6,428: The cover of our most recent print issue features Monkey Puzzle/RCA’s chart-topper Sia—at least, we think it’s her. Last week, the brilliant singer/songwriter scored a #1 debut on the HITS Album Chart (as her single “Chandelier” blew up at radio), despite obscuring her visage in all official imaging. Of course, the impulse to hide one’s face makes more sense than usual when you’re on the cover of our appalling rag.

Our Contents Page VIPs this week are the heads of Sia’s label, RCA chairman Peter Edge and President Tom Corson, who add a multi-format radio smash by Magic! (#2 Pop and Hot AC, Top 10 Rhythm) and Tinashe's Rhythm #1—as well as breaking singles by Bleachers and Becky G—to the heat generated by Sia’s #1 bow, with Joe Riccitelli and crew delivering. Team Nipper is feeling fine, though they needed this HITS Contents shout-out like a case of fleas. (7/21p)
