A DEATH IN THE FAMILY: No one in the music biz was more beloved and respected than the great producer/A&R man David Anderle. The news of his passing yesterday hit a couple of us especially hard: Bud Scoppa, who worked alongside David during the early to mid-’70s, and Karen Glauber, who was tight with him during the mid- to late ’80s. We mourn his loss and celebrate his life in this tribute. (9/2a)
