Grand Hustle/Atlantic Rapper Bows at #1, Bullet for My Valentine, Etheridge, Cosgrove Debut Top 10
More than 1.6 million B.o.B fans can’t be wrong, and they’re not.

That’s the number of people who have downloaded the Grand Hustle/Atlantic rapper’s smash single, “Nothin’ on You,” featuring Bruno Mars.

Enough of them bought the up-and-coming Atlanta hip-hop star’s debut album, Adventures of Bobby Ray, to make it #1 on this week’s HITS sales chart with 84k.

Capitol Nashville/EMI’s double-platinum Lady Antebellum release, Need You Now, is steady at #2, with 76k.

Veteran Jive/RED Welsh hardcore metal band Bullet for My Valentine is the week’s other top bow, entering the chart at #3, with 72k, for its third album, Fever.

Island/IDJ’s Justin Bieber holds down the #4 spot with his latest album, My World 2.0, and #10 with his debut, while Columbia’s AC/DC Iron Man 2 soundtrack rounds out the Top 5.

iCarly star Miranda Cosgrove’s Columbia debut, Sparks Fly, is the other newcomer to the Top 10, entering at #8, followed by Capitol/EMI’s Now 33 at #9.

Mercury/IDJ’s Hole, Courtney Love’s reconstituted band, debuts at #16, followed by Zoe RecordsMary Chapin Carpenter (#26), Sony Music Latin’s Daddy Yankee (#33), Eleven Seven’s Drowning Pool (#34) and, fresh off their American Idol appearance last week, Interscope’s Sons of Sylvia (#37).

Columbia’s Susan Boyle (#44) and Broken Bow’s Jason Aldean (#50) both re-enter.

Reprise crooner Michael Buble’s Crazy Love is the week’s biggest gainer, moving #35-22, +26%. Epic’s Sade (#23, +7%), Interscope’s Lady Gaga (#21, +6%) and Roadrunner’s Nickelback (#45-36, +4%) also experienced sales upticks.

Hitting stores today are Universal Republic’s Godsmack, Asylum’s Bone Thugs N Harmony, Atlantic’s Toni Braxton, Columbia’s Court Yard Hounds, Hear Music’s Carole King/James Taylor, WB’s Deftones, Slip-N-Slide/EMM’s Trina, Atlantic’s Zac Brown Band live and Vagrant’s The Hold Steady. Look for sales to jump next week with Mother’s Day this Sunday.
