Lady Antelbellum, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Jason Aldean Lead Field With Three Noms Apiece for June 9 Show
Lady Antebellum, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Jason Aldean are the top contenders, with three nominations apiece, in the 2010 CMT Music Awards, set to air June 9 from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.

Receiving two noms each are Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith, Miranda Lambert, Reba McEntire, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, Steel Magnolia, Sugarland, Keith Urban and Zac Brown Band

Hosted by Kid Rock, the MTV country channel awards show will feature performances by Toby Keith, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban, with more to be announced. Fans can vote online at vote.CMT.com through June 8 to determine the winners.

Aldean and Billy Currington are the newcomers in the Male Video of the Year category, while McEntire reappears in the Female category for the first time since 2005. Other highlights include Gloriana's first entrance into the Group category, while Steel Magnolia joins Duo and Breakthrough for the first time.
