ONE TO WATCH
This week we spotlight Grammy-winning producer Danjahandz who emerges from the Timbaland camp. Danja has been making his mark in the biz big time, with across-the-board smashes that include “Promiscuous” by Nelly Furtado, and Justin Timberlake’s “Sexy Back.” Needless to say, he’s become one of the hottest producers in the game and has recently signed the first artist, Kevin “KC” Cossom, for his N.A.R.S. imprint. All this action makes him one to watch in 2009. www.myspace.com/danjahandz

BAND UPDATES
1. Family Force 5
: We’ve been telling you periodically about these hotties breaking from the Christian rock market. They’re currently on the Alternative Press Tour. Record nearing 60k units sold. New single “How in the World” going to Top 40 soon. Their album Dance or Die debuts at #12 on the New Zealand Album chart. www.myspace.com/familyforce5

2. At last night's set by The Guggenheim Grotto at the Hotel Cafe, there were a good number of film and TV supervisors in attendance, as the band has already received a good deal of "placement love." And the final song performed (excluding the ukulele-led encore), "Her Beautiful Ideas," is showing great reaction at Triple A as the campaign gets under way. www.myspace.com/guggenheimgrotto

3. Not to say we told you so, but check out these Wheels-certified bands playing Bamboozle this year: Family Force 5, Never Shout Never, Cage The Elephant and Ultraviolet Sound.
