With everyone getting their 15 minutes of fame, you can’t separate the show biz folk from the civilians.
VH1, which has dubbed itself the home of “celebreality TV,” unveiled its latest slate of shows, featuring Margaret Cho, Luther Campbell and Brooke Hogan.
The Cho Show follows the former All American Girl TV star and her eccentric entourage and family. VH1 has ordered seven half-hour episodes from Crossroads Television.
Luke’s Parental Advisory features the former leader of the raunchy rap group 2 Live Crew, now a suburban father, fiancée and CEO of an adult entertainment business. VH1 has ordered eight 30-minute episodes from Pink Sneakers Productions.
Brooke Hogan Knows Best follows four years of Hogan Knows Best, with the wrestling star’s daughter beginning life on her own in Miami. VH1 has ordered 10 30-minute episodes from Pink Sneakers.
VH1 is also putting former Flavor of Love contestant New York in New York Goes to Hollywood, ordering 10 30-minute episodes from Mindless Entertainment and 51 Pictures.
The network will feature James Brown and Elton John in episodes of Rock Docs, while Snoop Dogg will appear in an installment of VH1 Storytellers.
