The Rihanna video for the first single from her new album Rated R is set to premiere tonight on ABC's 20/20 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
Directed by Anthony Mandler, the clip's reportedly dark, elaborate and cinematic, reflecting the controversial image campaign, which featured the singer bound in barbed wire. See the on-air promo here. The single is already a Top 10 hit, the 12th in Rihanna's impressive career to date, second-most of any female act this decade.
Mandler also helmed the online clip, "Wait Your Turn," while yet another track, "Hard" f/Jeezy, has been getting radio and club airplay nationwide.
With Rated R slated for release Nov. 23, Rihanna will partner with Nokia for a concert event from a secret location in London which will be streamed on the Web and mobile devices. Log onto www.Nokia/com/rihanna for more information.
She'll perform on ABC's American Music Awards, Sunday (11/22), while on Tuesday morning after release (11/24), Times Square will be closed for her turn on the network's Good Morning America, followed by Letterman on NBC that night.
