Idol Runner-Up, Cash Money’s first Rock Artist, Steve Greenberg’s Latest Discovery Debut in HITS’ Vibe-Raters Section
An American Idol alum, Cash Money’s first rock signing and S-Curve boss Steve Greenberg’s latest discovery top the list of debuts on this week’s HITS Vibe-Raters section featuring the hottest new and developing artists starting to break.

David Archuleta, runner-up to David Cook on the most recent American Idol competition, is seeing gains at Top 40 and Hot Adult for “Crush,” the first track from his debut 19/Jive/ZLG album, slated for a Nov. 11 release. The video premieres on iTunes Sept. 16. Among the Hot Adult stations already on the record are WXKS, Z100, WIOQ, B96, KDWB, KHKS and Y100. Archuleta is currently out on the Idol tour. Kevin Rudolf is the first rock act signed to the legendary New Orleans rap label Cash Money Records by the Williams brothers, Slim and Baby. “Let it Rock,” the first single from the former guitarist for Nelly Furtado, Justin Timberlake and Timbaland, features labelmate Lil Wayne, and was #1 Most Added at Top 40, with top phones at major stations like N.Y.’s Z100 and L.A.’s KIIS. There’s plenty of ringtone and iTunes action, while the song has been licensed by the NFL and Beverly Hills 90210. A video is comleted and a promotional tour is set for Oct., with the album, In the City, hitting retail Nov. 25. Go here for more.

Little Jackie is a duo brought to you by S-Curve’s Steve Greenberg, who previously discovered Joss Stone, Hanson and the Jonas Brothers, featuring Imani Coppola and DJ/programmer Adam Pallin. The pair’s debut album, The Stoop, came out in July, with the first single, “The World Should Revolve Around Me,” getting Hot A/C spins at WRQX, WBNS, WKRQ, KUDD, Sirius Hits 1 and WPRO, while the video is in heavy rotation on BET J and mtvU. Look for an iTunes “Discovery Download” for the next single, the title track, on Sept. 23, and an appearance on Ellen Sept. 22. Go here for more.
