Radiohead’s much ballyhooed In Rainbows, which came out yesterday in physical form on their own TBD label through Coran Capshaw’s ATO after last year’s Internet, digital-only release, is on target for between 60-65k in first-week sales.

MARY QUEEN OF CHARTS, ALICIA, GROBAN NEXT

Radiohead Hits The Street, Will Bow Top 10 Next Week
It was a Mary Christmas and now it’s a Happy New Year for Geffen diva Mary J. Blige, as her Growing Pains tops 2008’s first chart with 196k in total sales.

Alicia Keys’ critically acclaimed J Records album As I Am, another big holiday winner, finishes at #2, with 180k.

After five consecutive weeks at #1, Josh Groban’s Noel, which used a late rush to become 2007’s top seller, lands at #3 with a still-robust 160k.

EMI’s Now 26 continues its surge at #4 with 98k, while Jive/ZLG R&B star Chris Brown’s Exclusive (84k) rounds out the Top 5.

The Eagles' Long Road Out of Eden is up next at #6 (82k), followed by Big Machine's Best New Artist Grammy nominee Taylor Swift (#7, 80k), Pearl’s Garth Brooks (#8, 74k), Universal Republic’s latest MySpace new artist success story Colbie Caillat (#9, 72k) and Arista Nashville’s Carrie Underwood (#10, 64.5k).

Radiohead’s much ballyhooed In Rainbows, which came out yesterday in physical form on their own TBD label through Coran Capshaw’s ATO after last year’s Internet, digital-only release, is on target for between 60-65k in first-week sales, way below the 300k of its last album, 2003’s Hail to the Thief, but more than enough to put it in the Top 10. Reports had the initial retail shipment targeted at 400k.
