COMPLETE OSCAR NOMINATIONS

Few Surprises This Year, as Justice Is Served... for the Most Part
Juno fans will be delighted to learn that the film, lead Ellen Page and director Jason Reitman all received Oscar nominations, announced at 5:30 this morning in rainy L.A. In other notable acknowledgments, the hard-edged tandem of No Country for Old Men and Let There Be Blood led the way with eight nominations each, while relative sleepers Michael Clayton and Atonement got seven apiece. Cate Balnchett received nods in both the Best Actress (for becoming Elizabeth I) and Best Supprting Actress (for becoming Bob Dylan) categories and "Falling Slowly" from Once appears to have the inside track in the Best Song category.
