Big Rock Soundtrack Making Noise for Wind-up
Following a week where the top of the Top 50 Albums chart is occupied by the Dixie Chicks, Billy Pumpkin’s Zwan, Norah Jones, the Chicago soundtrack and Avril Lavigne, here comes the Daredevil soundtrack to put some rock grind back into the Top 10.

Indeed, according to early reports from national accounts, the Wind-up album accompanying the Ben Affleck starrer should move somewhere in the range of 60k-70k in its first week, driven by big radio love for Evanescence.

That’ll likely be good for a Top 10 debut, and the album could even trend up during the remainder of the week, according to prognosticators who note that the movie isn’t even out yet. The collection, which also features Fuel, Saliva, Nickelback, Drowning Pool and Rob Zombie, is off to a strong start in an otherwise soft soundtrack market, Chicago being the notable exception for the year to date.
