Singer’s Sophomore Effort to Rule in First Week
This one’s easy:

Ashanti’s sophomore album, Chapter II, will be #1 this week.

According to the latest retail dope (and we do mean dope), the Murder Inc./IDJ soulstress remains on track to clock over 300k in her first week on sale.

Ashanti’s album could reach upward of 320k, if things went her way on the weekend. We’ll let you know.

Okay, so now that we’ve got this week out of the way, on to the next: Look for Virgin’s Thalia to rock the house with her English-language debut. Early-early prognosticatorial limb-goers have this one pegged at 125k for the moment.
