TONOS GIVES MUSICIANS INDUSTRY OPPORTUNITIES

Company Gives Wannabes A Chance To Kiss Industry Ass…Just Like A Real Rock Star!

Tonos Entertainment today announced that they are providing their users with Tonos Industry Opportunities, which include talent contests, exclusive industry opportunities and industry listings, geared towards aspiring musicians.

Did we mention industry opportunities?

Industry Opportunities, found in the "Get Discovered" section of the Tonos website, are frequently updated with—you guessed it!—opportunities best suited for career-minded musicians. Users have the chance to submit songs for films, TV or sessions with top producers, as well as record, publishing and management deals.

Current opportunities include a Boosweet Records singer/songwriter contest for a recording contract, the chance to provide original music for the WB’s upcoming "ElimiDate" series and landing a recurring role on an Emmy-winning television series in need of a four-member boy band. O-Town fans can rest easy, as "Making of the Band" has never won an Emmy. Well, not yet anyway.

Tonos was founded in 1999 by Oscar- and Grammy-winning lyricist Carole Bayer Sager and Grammy-winners David Foster and Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds. The site already has connected more than 25 aspiring artists with record deals, endorsements, showcase performances and appearances in television shows even more high-profile than the shots of contestants being rejected on "Pop Stars."

"Tonos successfully connects musicians everywhere with exclusive, high-quality opportunities through online collaboration, challenges and industry access," stated Tonos Executive VP/GM Justin Herz. "We offer the tools and services for creating and showcasing new music, while providing the access required to chart a career path. We also advise users to stay away from the HITS cesspool until they’ve had all of their immunizations."
