Eigendorff Upped To Executive VP/COO
The Rich gets richer.

MTV: Music Television Executive Vice President Rich Eigendorff has added Chief Operating Officer stripes to his title, it was announced by MTV/MTV2 President Van Toffler.

Eigendorff will take on the additional duties of overseeing the Programming Enterprises and Business Development departments at the music channel, as well as business operations for MTV2 and caddying weekends for Tom Freston. He will continue as the network's chief liaison for the advertising and affiliate sales groups, production management, law and business affairs, human resources, research and planning and figuring out new ways to cover people in bodily fluids for "Jackass."

Eigendorff held a number of posts at MTV parent company Viacom International, Inc., including CFO for MTV Networks and VP/Ass't. Treasurer of Viacom International. The LIU BA and St. John's MBA began his career at Viacom's Showtime cable network.

Commented Toffler: "This promotion recognizes Rich's unique skills and incredible hard work on behalf of MTV. His forward thinking and business savvy have helped ensure our leadership position in an increasingly competitive marketplace.
