Sarfeld Brought In To Deal With Unruly Trade Hacks

Frank "And Beans" Sarfeld has been named Senior VP and Chief Communications Officer forBertelsmann eCommerce Group.

Sarfeld will be responsible for BeCG's global corporate communications strategy, will direct BeCG's global corporate communications from the company's offices in Hamburg, Germany and New York and refuse all collect calls from HITS.

Sarfeld formerly served as Director of Corporate Communications for AOL Europe, where Schmidt was President/CEO.

BeCG was established earlier this year to build Bertelsmann's global community and commerce network across all technologies and platforms and to smuggle Volkswagen bugs into the U.S.
