AOLTW NAMES INAUGURAL FOUNDATION BOARD MEMBERS

To be filed under the category "Does It Really Mean Jack-Shit," the AOL Time Warner Foundation named the 15 members of its inaugural board of directors Monday (3/12).

Joining Chair of the Foundation Board Steve Case, Chairman, AOL Time Warner, is AOLTW Senior VP Kathy Bushkin, who will serve as President of the foundation.

The foundation list includes Betty Cohen, President, Cartoon Network Worldwide and President, Turner Learning, Turner Broadcasting System; Gary Credle, Exec. VP, Administration and Studio Operations, Warner Bros.; Andrew Kaslow, Senior VP, AOLTW; Ken Lerer, Exec. VP, AOLTW; Michael Lynton President, AOL International; and Henry McGee President, HBO Home Video, Home Box Office.

Others in the mix are Ken Novack Vice Chairman, AOLTW; Lisa Quiroz, Publisher, People en Espanol, Time; Tom Rutledge Senior Exec. VP, Time Warner Cable; George Vradenburg, III, Exec. VP of Global and Strategic Policy, AOLTW; and Audrey Weil, President, CompuServe.

Included in the foundation board are names we truly recognize: like Sylvia Rhone, Chairman/CEO, Elektra Entertainment Group; and Dick Parsons, Co-Chief Operating Officer, AOLTW.

In a statement, AOLTW said the foundation "seeks to use the power of media, communications and information technology to serve the public interest and strengthen society."
