Yeskel comes to J from Windham Hill, where he was the L.A.-based VP Sales in charge of numbers and granola-crunching. Prior to that, he was VP Sales & Field Marketing at Island Records in charge of cleaning Chris Blackwell's stash.
Commented Yeskel: "The only thing that could have brought me back to New York so soon is this opportunity to work with Clive Davis. I'm thrilled to be part of J Records, the most exciting venture in the music business. In fact, I can't wait to work such proven acts as Whitney Houston, Santana, Outkast and Puff Daddy. Do you think Clive will be throwing his annual pre-Grammy party again this year?"
Added Corson: "Dave's wide-ranging experience, artist marketing skills, grasp of digital issues, keen analytic abilities and uncanny method of hitting the Trifecta at Belmont are an ideal fit for J Records."
