A HARD ROCK DAY’S NIGHT

Bid on Ringo Starr's Nose-Hair Clipper Collection
With the Beatles' "1" perched atop the cart, the market for Fab Four collectibles has never been hotter, with fans bidding on everything from John Lennon's bunions to the shoes Paul McCartney didn't wear for the "Abbey Road" cover shoot.

Hard Rock Cafe International has partnered with eBay to offer more than 100 Beatlesque items from Hard Rock's immense collection. The online Beatles Memorabilia Auction launches January 15 on the Hard Rock Web site (www.hardrock.com) and Ebay to commemorate Hard Rock Cafe International's 30th Anniversary. Insiders admits it's just a "fortuitous coincidence" the auction corresponds with the Beatles compilation selling like hot cakes.

Rock & roll fans all over the world will be able to bid on Beatles items like autographed guitars, gumball machines, figurines, RIAA certified Gold album awards just by clicking on the site and linking to eBay. In addition to individual items, a date with Yoko Ono is being offered. The opening bid is $3.98 plus picking up the dinner tab.

All proceeds from the auction will go to the Hard Rock Foundation to help charities worldwide.
