"BLAME" IT ON SPOTIFY

Calvin Harris' New Track Featuring John Newman Is a Streaming Monster
Calvin Harris now has the record for most Spotify first-week streams for his latest Columbia single, “Blame” featuring John Newman.

In its debut week, “Blame” (which also jumped #77-30 at Shazam and was added to BBC Radio 1's A List) racked up 2.36m U.S. streams and 10.8m worldwide.

As the charts below indicate, the track blew by the biggest songs in the world in its debut week on the global chart (and was kept from the top of the U.K. leaderboard only by the indefatigable "Prayer in C" by Lilly Wood & The Prick & Robin Schulz), and jumped into the middle of the pack domestically.
