Band Set to Play Kimmel, Special Club Nokia Show Streamed on Myspace
Linkin Park's new release hits the street today, with a load of activities on tap, according to their official website. The album is expected to debut at or near the top on next week's HITS chart, where it will battle it out with Maroon 5's Overexposed.

The band's fifth studio album, Living Things (Machine Shop Recordings/WB), is now available on iTunes. Fans that purchase the album through www.linkinpark.com will get a special bonus "Remix Subscription" to receive one remix a month from the album for the rest of the year.

"Burn It Down," the debut single from the album, is #1 at both Active and Mainstream Rock, making it the band's tenth chart -topping single. Rolling Stone calls the song "one of their best singles yet."

To mark the album release, the band perform two consecutive nights on Jimmy Kimmel Live tomorrow and Thursday nights. They will also perform a private show at Club Nokia at L.A. Live on June 29 that will be streamed live on Myspace www.myspace.com/livestream/linkinpark at 11 p.m. (PST)/8 p.m. (EST). A very limited number of tickets will be available free for Linkin Park Underground fan club members at www.lpunderground.com

They embark on the 2012 Honda Civic Tour with Incubus and Mutemath, starting Aug. 11 in Bristow, VA, at Jiffy Lube Live.
