VIBE-RATERS: IT'S YOUR
"LUCKY" DAY

We're Daffy for Daft Punk, Who Dance in at #1; Also, Walk Off The Earth Walk Into the Spotlight

We've got two debuts in Vibe-Raters next week, one a monster and one a comer.

Storming into our round-up at #1 is Columbia's pair of EDM godfathers,
Daft Punk, whose "Get Lucky" has been inundated with immediate, mad multi-format radio love (led by Pop adds in N.Y.and L.A. and PoMo punch from KROQ and Live 105), and seen single sales soar to #1 in no fewer than 55 worldwide markets .The duo's hugely anticipated fourth album, Random Access Memories (due out 5/21), is #1in pre-orders in 52 markets.

Their 60-second SNL spot alone has garnered 3 million online views; the LP trailer, meanwhile, debuted at Coachella. Add a massive outdoor ad campaign, huge press (including a GQ feature and four-star Rolling Stone review)and an innovative video series profiling dance-music progenitors like Giorgio Moroder and collaborators Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers, and you've got crazy multimedia saturation. See the latest installment of I.B. Bad (online tomorrow) for more analysis of this blockbuster.

Also from Columbia: Canadian newcomers
Walk Off The Earth, whose "Red Hands" (from their album R.E.V.O., which streeted 3/19) began as a viral video sensation and is now seeing big gains at Hot Adult, Triple A and PoMo radio, including Sirius XM The Pulse and Spectrum, WQKL, WKQX, KLLC, KFOG, KHMX, WIAD, WXRV, WBMX, CIDR, KLCK, KPLZ and more.

Their clip's gotten 4.3 million online views (1 million of those in the first week), and they came into the mainstream TV orbit with a Today Show appearance last week. They'll hit the road for a Stateside tour in late summer.
