PARKER'S GRAND OLE DEBUT
9/15/21

Warner Music Nashville’s Drew Parker made his Grand Ole Opry debut last night (9/14).

The CMA Song of the Year nominee performed “The Runway,” dedicated to his daughter in the audience—marking the first time she’d seen him play a show—and his latest single, “While You’re Gone,” which currently boasts 40m+ global streams.

“Last night was such a surreal moment. Part of me still thinks I’m dreaming. Part of me thinks I should still be sitting on a barstool in Georgia singing cover songs, but last night everyone at the Opry told me that I deserved to be there,” shared Parker.

Parker is currently on the road with Luke Combs for his What You See is What You Get tour alongside labelmate Ashley McBryde. He’ll join Jameson Rodgers on his Cold Beer Calling My Name tour in the fall. For a full list of upcoming shows, click here.

Seen before heading to the nearest hot chicken joint to celebrate are (l-r) WMN’s EVP/GM Ben Kline, Make Wake Artists Chris Kappy, Parker and WMN's SVP of Radio & Streaming Kristen Williams.
