HUNTER HAYES MOVES THE NEEDLE ON SPOTIFY
7/11/17

Hunter Hayes learns that by pulling the beard of Spotify Global Head of Country Music John Marks, he can magically launch millions of new streams. Not that he needs to; the Atlantic Records/Warner Music Nashville artist made some major noise on Spotify this week. His new single, “Rescue,” scored 1.5m streams since its 6/29 release. The track landed on New Music Friday playlists in 10 different countries and is also charting on its U.S. Viral Top 50 playlist.

Meanwhile, a group of made-up artists from a Swedish chill playlist considered doing some Hank Williams covers.
