IN THE CHANGING NASHVILLE LANDSCAPE, WHAT DO YOU SEE AS THE BIGGEST ISSUE WE’RE FACING?
The typical development cycle for new artists is ridiculously slow, particularly in mainstream country music. If hit songs don’t gain exposure more quickly through mass media, niche outlets will continue to disrupt the process and steal the music-discovery crown.

HOW ARE YOU MEETING THE CHALLENGE?
SiriusXM will continue to satiate our subscribers’ demand for new music. Our strategy is built on being agnostic as to where a piece of music comes from, playing all new songs in meaningful rotations (typically 30 or more times a week), never burying songs in just the overnight hours and using a variety of data sources to quickly gauge audience feedback.
