BBR Music Group has announced that Jay Jones will join its staff as VP Publicity. Jones will be charged with strategizing and overseeing national publicity campaigns for BBR artists across a variety of label imprints, including Broken Bow Records, Stoney Creek Records, Red Bow Records and Wheelhouse Records.

Jones’ resume includes a stint as Director of Media Relations at CMA, and owner of Jay Jones Music, a public relations and marketing company whose clients included The Beach Boys, Jason Boland and the Stragglers, 12th and Porter and Capitol Records.

“Jay brings a wealth of experience with an impressive track record. He’s been a valuable resource in the Nashville music community and we're excited for him to help lead and contribute to our artist’s career growth and development,” said Jon Loba, EVP BBR Music Group.

Jones replaces Natalie Kilgore, who left BBR to become VP/ Marketing & Public Relations for Nashville-based media company SouthComm, Inc., whose properties include Nashville Scene, Nashville Post, Washington City Paper, Cincinnati’sCity Beat, FireHouse, Airport Business, Mass Transit and Fleet Maintenance. Kilgore will strategize marketing and publicity activities, campaigns and projects across SouthComm brands nationwide.
