Drake shows no signs of slowing down, especially considering that his next radio single, “Controlla,” debuts at #37, up 200 spins. Ariana Grande’s “Dangerous Woman” continues to grow, up 220 spins and climbing to #15. Nick Jonas f/Tove Lo’s “Close” (Island) moves #31-27 this week and adds 145 spins to his total. They’re impacting Marc E. Bassy f/G-Eazy’s “You & Me” this week, while setting up a new T.I. f/Marsha Ambrosius’ new track, “Dope,” which was up 200+ spins and looks to be on the fast track to debut in the next few weeks.


Columbia’s Ayelet Schiffman and James White take The Chainsmokers f/Daya’s “Don’t Let Me Down” (Disruptor) #10-6. That one’s just a week away from breaking the Top 5; it’s up 690 spins, and they just dropped a reggae edit that’s really hot and helping with the Northeast Urban-leaning stations. Beyoncé’s “Sorry” moves #20-17, gaining an additional 600 spins, while Calvin Harris f/Rihanna’s “This Is What You Came For” leaps #29-22. Harris was up 390 spins and is just hitting his stride. The Empire cast’s “Look But Don’t Touch” debuts this week at #40, while adding 165 spins and truly reacting where it’s getting played.

Def Jam’s Rick Sackheim, Noah Sheer and Scott Maness are knocking on #1’s door with Desiigner’s “Panda” (G.O.O.D.), but despite being up 380 spins, it remains at #2. Rihanna’s “Need Me” (Westbury Road/Roc Nation) rises #17-13, gaining an additional 545 spins, and Kanye West’s “Famous” (G.O.O.D.) climbs inside the Top 25 this week. They also just dropped a brand new YG f/Drake cut, “Why You Always Hatin’."

Epic’s Sujit Kundu has Future f/The Weeknd’s “Low Life” (A1/Freebandz) gaining momentum each and every week. It moves #15-12 this week, gaining 400 spins, marking the best single-week increase it’s had to date. Kent Jones’ “Don’t Mind” (We The Best)—one of the biggest buzz records out there—is up 710 spins and also on fire, moving inside the Top 15. Yo Gotti’s “Law” (CMG) is posted at #32, and they’re impacting Gnarly World’s “H.I.T.H” this week. Meghan Trainor’s “Me Too” is just getting started at the format.


Inca and Lori G at RCA welcome Bryson Tiller’s “Exchange” to the Top 10, as it tacks on 235 spins and moves to #8. Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling” skyrockets #21-16, gaining 800 spins. At this rate, Timberlake should blast into the Top 10 in the next few weeks. G-Eazy f/Chris Brown’s “Drifting” is at #21 after an increase of 140 spins. And they’re impacting Alicia Keys’ “In Common,” which is already sitting at #46 with 110+ spins.


Dixie Tipton and Team Capitol have Young Greatness’ “Moolah” (QC/Motown) at #18, up 125 spins. She’s also building new artist Niykee Heaton’s single, “Bad Intentions,” which features Migos. That one moves to #48 this week, thanks in part to a 150-spin increase.

John Strazza and RECORDS have Trinidad James’ “Just a Lil’ Thick” shooting to #33. It was up 260 spins and continues to grab new stations each week.
