Kyle f/Lil Yachty’s debut single, “iSpy”(Indie-Pop/Atlantic), climbs to #1 this week, cutting through a number of big names to reach the top… Epic’s Sujit Kundu is hot on his heels with DJ Khaled f/Beyoncé & Jay Z‘s “Shining”(We The Best). Suj has once again “timed the market” and has this one poised to go #1 this coming week. It was up 620 spins this week, landing at #3. Future’s “Mask Off” (A1/Freebandz) is one of the hottest records at the format right now. It not only jumped from #24 to #18, it had this week’s biggest increase in spins with 700. French Montana’s “Unforgettable” (Bad Boy) is up 220 spins, and looks to debut this coming week. Epic is impacting Jidenna‘s “Bambi”(Wondaland) this week… Gary Spangler and Davey Dee at Republic keep the pedal down on Drake’s “Passionfruit” (YMCMB). It exploded on the Top 10, coming in at #6. It’s also up 685 spins and will hit Top 5 by next week. Post Malone‘s “Congratulations” is at #10 this week, up 185 spins. The next goal is Top 5, as they cross to Top 40. Julia Michaels‘ “Issues” (J) continues to grow, as it’s now #36. They debut Drake’s “Portland” at #38 this week, with 170 new spins. Aminé’s “Redmercedes” inches closer to the chart this week, landing at #46. It’s up 130 spins, and has a shot to debut this coming week. This week, they’re impacting NAV‘s “Myself” (XO)… Over at Columbia, Ayelet Schiffman and James White have two records on the move inside the Top 10. Calvin Harris f/Frank Ocean & Migos‘ “Slide” climbs #9-7, gaining another 360 spins. His next stop is the Top 5. Russ “Losin’ Control” moves #11-9, with a 215-spin increase. He too shows no signs of slowing down. Lecrae f/Ty Dolla $ign‘s “Blessings” (Reach) is up 120 spins, and is now at #32. They debut Ayo & Teo’s “Rolex” at #37, thanks to a healthy 200-spin increase… RCA’s Inca and Lori G welcome Khalid‘s “Location” (Right Hand) into the Top 5. He adds an additional 225 spins to his total. Chris Brown‘s “Privacy” just misses debuting, but with another increase of 340 spins this past week, he’ll be on the chart for sure. ZAYN f/PARTYNEXTDOOR’s “Still Got Time” slides up to #48 this week, and they’re impacting Kid Ink f/Ty Dolla $ign‘s “F With U” (Tha Alumni/88 Classic) this week. It was already up 150 spins this past week, and is looking to have the Most Added. Goldlink‘s “Crew”(Squaaash Club) is at #56, and continues to develop. They’re impacting Wizkid f/Drake’s “Come Closer”(Starboy) next week… Def Jam’s Rick Sackheim and Noah Sheer have Iggy Azalea’s “Mo Bounce” at #50, and Axwell & Ingrosso f/Kid Ink’s have “I Love You” at #51. Make sure you listen to Logic‘s “Everybody,” which is starting to heat up at mix shows… Glassnote’s Childish Gambino, with “Redbone,” sees another increase of 175 spins, and moves to #20. It continues to prove itself as a multi-format hit, with sales, Shazams, etc… Greg Marella, Dixie Tipton and Capitol are set to impact Lil Yachty f/Migos’ “Peek A Boo” (QC/Motown) on 5/8. There’s a lot of early action on this track. Make sure you take the time to check it out.
