With it being a holiday week—packed with celebratory mixshows at the Rhythm format— the only movement inside the Top 10 belongs to Post Malone's “Better Now” (Republic), which will see an increase of over 600 spins. Lil Baby's “Yes Indeed” f/ Drake (QC/Motown/Capitol), Nicki Minaj's “Bed” f/ Ariana Grande (YMCMB/Republic) and Juice WRLD's “Lucid Dreams” (Interscope) all have solid gains. Look for Drake's “Don’t Matter To Me” f/ Michael Jackson (YMCMB/Republic) to debut this week.
Being the 4th of July holiday is falling in the middle of the week, there were a number of stations that froze their lists. The Most Added was TK Kravitz' “Ocean” with 16 stations out of the box, followed by Def Jam’s 2 Chainz getting 14 adds on “Bigger Than You” f/ Quavo and Drake. Meanwhile, Republic is collecting early adds on Drake's newest Scorpion single, “Don’t Matter To Me” f/ Michael Jackson (YMCMB/Republic) with 5 adds, while Khalid's “OTW” f/ Ty Dolla $ign & 6BLACK (RCA) also scored 5 new stations.
Republic is trying to hold on to Drake's “Nice For What” (YMCMB) for an eighth week at #1, but it’s going to be a battle. The label also has Post Malone's “Better Now” continuing to explode, plus Nicki Minaj's “Bed” f/ Ariana Grande (YMCMB) gaining enough momentum to be this week's highest chart debut— landing inside the Top 25. Juice WRLD's “Lucid Dreams” (Grade A Prod/Interscope) and G-Eazy's “1942” (RCA) will both impact the chart.
Drake's “Nice For What” (YMCMB/Republic) will stand for a seventh straight week at #1. Khalid X Normani's “Love Lies” (RCA) and Migos' “Walk It Talk It” f/ Drake (QC/Motown/Capitol) will continue to grow inside the Top 10. Post Malone's “Better Now” (Republic) takes a huge jump up inside the Top 20. Def Jam will secure two debuts this week, as Kanye West's “Yikes” (G.O.O.D. Music) And YG's “Big Bank” both hit the chart. Russ' “Back To Life” (Columbia) also debuts.
