Republic scores big with Ariana Grande's “Dangerous Woman," taking home top honors as Most Added. They also see double digit commitments on The Weeknd's “Acquainted” (XO). Zendaya's "Something New" f/ Chris Brown (Republic), The Weeknd's "Acquainted" (XO), Mike Posner's "I Took A Pill In Ibiza" (Island) and Drake's "Summer Sixteen" (YMCMB) will all have solid increases courtesy of Team Republic. Meanwhile, Epic has two debuts with Fifth Harmony's "Work From Home" (SYCO) and Future's "Low Life" f/ The Weeknd (A1/Freebandz) and look for Justin Bieber's "Company" (Def Jam) to debut as well.

THE BALLSTREET JOURNAL

And just like that, Westbury Road/Roc Nation’s Rihanna has another #1 record. “Work,” featuring Drake, takes a mere six weeks to make it to the head of the class. Def Jam’s Rick Sackheim, Noah Sheer and Scott Maness also have Jeremih’s “Oui” in the Top 10, gaining momentum after another 280-spin increase. DJ Mustard’s “Whole Lotta Lovin” (Roc Nation) moves to #33, adding 95 spins to his total. Alessia Cara’s “Wild Things” continues to grow and develop, moving to #38. They’re impacting Justin Bieber’s “Company” this week, and it’s already up 175 spins. This song has a shot of charting in the next two weeks, which continues Bieber’s huge success at the format.

Republic’s Gary Spangler, Davey Dee and Stef Cole have Belly f/The Weeknd’s “Might Not” (CP/Roc Nation) knocking on the door of the Top 10 with a #14-11 leap, up 290 spins. Mike Posner’s “I Took a Pill in Ibiza” (Island) moves to #22, tacking on another 235 spins, while Zendaya f/Chris Brown’s “Something New” is officially a Top 20 track. The Weeknd’s “Acquainted” (XO), meanwhile, glides into the Top 25, landing at #23. It sees an increase of 430 spins. Drake’s “Summer Sixteen” (YMCMB) increases 300 spins and climbs to #27. This one’s picking up steam and looks like it’ll be inside the Top 20 soon. They’re impacting Keke Palmer f/Jeremih’s “Enemiez” on 3/22.

RCA’s Inca and Lori G hold down the #2 slot with G-Eazy f/Bebe Rexha’s “Me, Myself & I,” powered by a 130+-spin increase, while it continues to grow at Top 40—where it’s now a Top 10 record. Chris Brown’s “Back to Sleep” moves to #8, increasing by 250 spins. Although the record looked like it had peaked a few weeks ago, a remix, featuring Usher and ZAYN, came along and really gave it new life. Kid Ink’s “Promise” rises to #12, up 250 spins, and ZAYN’s “PILLOWTALK” is in the Top 25 now, thanks to another 210-spin bump, while Bryson Tiller’s “Exchange” moves to #34 and gains 140 spins. And climbing to #53 with the help of a 65+-spin boost is A$AP Ferg’s “New Level” (A$AP/Polo Grounds).

Columbia’s Ayelet Schiffman and James White have The Chainsmokers f/Rozes’ “Roses” (Disruptor) at #7 this week. It’s up 165 spins this week, and looks headed for the Top 5. The Internet’s “Girl” (Odd Future) is at #32. That one continues to grow with about 100 spins each week, as it picks up new believers. J.Cole’s “Love Yourz” (Roc Nation) is up 125 spins and lands at #37 this week.

After much blood, sweat and tears, Epic’s Sujit Kundu takes Yo Gotti’s “Down in the DM” Top 5 with an increase of 160 spins. He also has Fifth Harmony’s “Work From Home” (SYCO) at #44 (and #37 on the Building Chart), clearly piggybacking momentum off Top 40 airplay. This one will move quickly! Released on Friday 3/4, Meghan Trainor’s “NO” is exploding at Top 40, where it’s already one of the biggest increased records at the format. With huge iTunes sales, there’s a great buzz at Rhythm, and I fully expect this one to go! And finally, Future f/The Weeknd’s “Low Life” (A1/Freebandz) is up 180 spins and a week or two away from debuting.

Capitol’s Dixie Tipton is impacting Young Greatness’ “Moolah” (QC/Motown) this week. It has a very good buzz and is already at #51 on the chart. Look for this to get into a number of mix shows and night rotations to start.
