FMLY/Island’s Jessie Reyez recently dropped her debut album Before Love Came to Kill Us on 3/27 and has accumulated 350m+ global streams RTD. Featuring previously released tracks “Ankles,” “Imported” f/6lack, platinum hit “Figures,” and new single “Coffin” f/Eminem, the album is now the top female debut and top R&B debut album of 2020.
In a surprise move, Grammy-nominated Reyez also released a deluxe version of the project, which includes three new tracks and features from A-Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, JID, Rico Nasty and Melii. Before Love Came to Kill Us is currently the #2 selling R&B album and had an impressive debut chart week, landing at #5 on the Top Album Sales chart, #4 on the Top R&B Albums chart, #9 on the Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart and #13 on the Top 200 chart.
Just last month, the Columbian/Canadian artist set out with Darkroom/Interscope’s Billie Eilish on her U.S. Where Do We Go Tour before she announced a postponement due to the current pandemic.
