IMAGEM TAKES THE MONEY AND RUNS ADMIN
1/20/16

Soon to be Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Steve Miller has inked multi-year admin deal (ex-U.S.) with Imagem for his catalogue entities Sailor Music and Silk Stocking Music. As you probably know if you’ve been near a radio in the past 40 years, Miller’s hits include “The Joker,” “Jet Airliner,” “Rock’n Me,” “Fly Like an Eagle,” “Swingtown,” “The Stake,” “Livin’ in the USA,” “Space Cowboy”—well, you get the idea.

“I'm pleased that we are going to look after his catalogue on a more global basis and I'm convinced that we will be extremely successful with his timeless compositions,” declared Imagem chief André de Raaff, who has known Miller since they worked together on his releases in the ’90s. “Steve is one of the best U.S. pop composers of our times and an exceptional guitar player as well.”

Declared Janice Ginsberg Miller, president of Sailor Music and Records, “We have been working successfully the last few years with CTM/Imagem in the Benelux and are very pleased to have the opportunity to expand our publishing administration to multiple territories with Imagem, especially looking forward to working with André and his expert team.”
